There is always a greener way to the goal. If there is no ecological route, we seek to create one.
To give a concrete example:
We have recently become the exclusive partner of the Neuoffingen freight station. Our goal with the train systems departing and arriving from there is to represent a „climate-neutral“ transport to German seaports, across the Alps and, with the appropriate cargo volume, also intercontinental. The Neuoffingen station is located on the Stuttgart / Munich axis with a direct connection to the north via Donauwörth / Würzburg. A total of 4 shunting tracks for block trains (751 m) and 2 loading tracks with a current length of 375 m are available. In addition, there is a storage and stabling area of approx. 25,000 sqm, which can also be expanded.
We’re also in contact with research institutes, for example, the University of Ulm, which is working on mobile applications for hydrogen-powered vehicles. At the Ulm facility, hydrogen technology is being further developed by an important truck manufacturer and attempts are being made to bring it to market maturity. In combination with the Neuoffingen freight station, we are able to make a lasting and positive difference.
After all, we prefer to leave our traces in the minds of our customers rather than on the planet.
